It is a privilege to have a computer lab with access to the World Wide Web. This provides students and teachers a wealth of resources. As with all privileges, there are certain expectations of behavior. This page highlights these expectations. ![]() The computer lab will be open after school on a regular basis for students to work on school assignments. Please contact Kathy Hollins, our computer instructor, to make arrangements if you are considering the need to use the computer lab very late. Students may also use the computer lab during school hours if they have a pass from their teacher and there is space available in the lab. ![]()
![]() The Heber/Overgaard School District has provided internet access for teachers and students to use as a valuable resource. For students to access the World Wide Web they must have a signed, parental agreement on file at the office. We will issue students a permit and an individual password to enable them access to these services. We will track student internet use through the identification their password provides. Students must be in possession of their permit and password in order to access the internet through the school computers. Failure to follow this procedure could result in the loss of these resources. Please read the attached document titled, “Grounds for Loss of Computer Privileges.” We feel honored to have the support of our community and school district that enables us the great privilege of having a computer lab with internet access in our school. We encourage all to use this privilege wisely. As we do, we will fill our minds with greater knowledge and our potential for becoming productive members of our community and our society increases. |
